| London based Internet Services for Business Company is seeking an IT Engineer to work and support various projects and program implementation.
Key responsibilities will include: working with Windows and Linux Servers, DNS, Email Servers, Exchange, Citrix, Cisco firewalls, switches, networking. Web development on client and server side. You must be able to demonstrate good understanding and knowledge of a variety of web browsers including familiarity with a Web environment using HTML, XHTML, PHP, ASP, JavaScript.
The successful candidate will have good knowledge and management skills of databases (Ms SQL Server, MYSql). You will be required to work with and mentoring other members in the team.
This position will be part of a talented Windows and Linux Network operations team that is responsible for the on-going maintenance, growth and development of a highly successful web enabled e – business.
A Bachelor's degree in Computing Science is required and at least one year of related experience is required. |

Main Duties and responsibilities:
- working with Windows and Linux Servers, DNS, Email Servers, Exchange, Citrix, Cisco firewalls, switches, networking.
- Web development on client and server side.
- Programming in variety of web browsers including familiarity with a Web environment using HTML, XHTML, PHP, ASP, JavaScript.
- Management of databases (Ms SQL Server, MYSql).
- You will be required to work with and mentoring other members in the team.

- Proficient with the configuration of Cisco, Switches, and Firewalls.
- Telecommunication knowledge
- On-going maintenance and development of Internet Services for Business.
- Provide systems engineering and administrative support for the company enterprise systems and services.
- Resolve a variety of problems of moderate to difficult scope.
- Initiate and coordinate the escalation of other computing systems and applications problems to other support staff, or outside vendors.
- Apply operating system/systems engineering expertise in the planning, analysis, design and implementation of the campus enterprise systems and services.
- Recommend modifications, including upgrades, additions or deletions to moderately complex or complex systems or services.
- Provide analysis and justification for recommendation, which may include operational data, feasibility, technological motivations, customer demand or need.
- Provide technical direction and leadership to lower level systems administrators/engineers through the planning and implementation processes.
- Develop and implement technical documentation and operational procedures to support day-to-day operations and change management and growth campus enterprise systems and services.
